Throughout our lives there are special times when we come together to share life’s events. Here at Grace, we commonly celebrate the following services and ceremonies:

Parent/Child Dedications

Parent/Child Dedication symbolizes a pledge by parents to raise their child in a Christian home and in a church environment where he or she can come to know, love, and obey Jesus. During this ceremony, the congregation of Grace Fellowship also makes a pledge to provide a loving, biblical community that supports and prays for the family.  We welcome any parent that has accepted Christ as Savior and is striving to live according to biblical standards to participate in this very important ceremony.

Parent/Child Dedication is not the same as infant baptism. The emphasis of this ceremony is on the parents’ commitment to raise their child in a godly home, whereas baptism represents Christ’s redemptive work in a believer.

Families interested in participating in Parent/Child Dedication are required to attend a 60-minute orientation class prior to participating in a service.  The class is offered periodically at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday morning and childcare is provided.   To register for the class and request childcare, sign up on the Classes page under  GET IT.

Adult Baptisms

Grace Fellowship practices baptism by immersion, as an expression of the believer’s faith and their new life in Christ. Opportunities for baptism are provided each month (with some exceptions) during worship services.

Candidates for baptism are asked to participate in a class entitled, “Baptism Orientation,” prior to participating in a ceremony.  Orientation classes are held on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. To register for a class, sign up on the Classes page under GET IT

Wedding Ceremonies

The purpose of the Grace Fellowship Wedding Ministry is to assist you in the preparation of your wedding ceremony, to prepare you for a life-long, God-honoring marriage, and to lay the foundation for a strong Christian home.

All couples who are married by one of our Wedding Ministers are required to go through our Pre-Marital Counseling.  We place a high value on our Pre-Marital Counseling and therefore, prefer couples to start this process at least 6 months in advance of their wedding date. For more information about weddings at Grace please view our wedding booklet.

Funerals at Grace Fellowship honor the person who has passed away and offers hope and compassion to those who are grieving. Our ministers and staff come alongside family and friends who have lost loved ones to offer comfort and encouragement.

For more information about any of these ceremonies, please email Wanda Evanchick.
